Nano-Retina’s implant is fixated to the eye tissue using specifically designed, ultra low penetration force, retinal tacks. Retinal tack was designed according to extensive study including in-vivo and ex-vivo experiments. Blank Innovations led the design, research and execution of tack production to achieve ultra low penetration force into eye tissue and eliminate risk of damages caused by applying forces on the eye tissue.
